Through appropriating a segment from Pina Bausch's Waltzer from watching youtube, an exploration about simulacrum, about mimicking and making sense of oneself through the embodiment of hyper-reality and in the process discovering an alternate perhaps more real body.

I created this solo with the mentorship of Martin Sonderkamp. Alone in Salzburg, I felt an urge to break out of my crystalis. To be back to the happy days, whereever it is. At that time, I had a breakup with my partner. I was hurt but I was supported. Hopefully seeing this solo will alleviate some of your pain and bring a smile to your face.
Agnus Dei
Another dance for me to express my feminism. This time how I feel women subject themselves and have been willingly subjecting themselves to loving men and how the cycles goes on...almost like a sacrificial lamb. Had the chance to present this in Passages, part of Singapore Dance Theatre's contemporary dance season.
